fter stints on TV, presenting music programmes on E4 Music and Channel 4, Russ Tannen quickly established himself as one of the most respected tastemakers in London’s live music scene when he joined VICE to oversee curation of their events at their flagship venue, The Old Blue Last. In 2014, Russ helped launch DICE. As a founding employee, he led the music team, landing deals with Apple Music, Red Bull and Goldenvoice. In 2018, Russ became Managing Director, signing major venue deals with UK institutions, Troxy, Scala and The Underworld, before being promoted to Chief Revenue Officer in 2019. Within the space of a year, Russ oversaw DICE's global expansion and led the growth of DICE's revenue streams, all while securing major international partnerships, including Primavera Sound.
Most recently, Russ has been instrumental in the success of DICE's live streaming offering, which since launching in April 2020, has partnered exclusively with artists including Lewis Capaldi, Laura Marling, Nick Cave and Trap Nation's Room Service Festival. He is a competitive ultra-marathon runner.
