arta Pallarès is a music journalist from Barcelona with a masters degree on Cultural Journalism, back home after some years in Mexico City. She worked as head of marketing at a Mexican record label and digital distributor, while also teaching at Universidad Iberoamericana and keeping up with the journalistic work in outlets such as the prestigious Spanish magazine Rockdelux.

Back to Barcelona and after two editions as the project manager for Primavera Sound's live stream in collaboration with Red Bull TV, she's now in charge of the international comms strategies for the festival. As the international press and PR manager, she handles the relationships with foreign press and journalists, acts as an official spokesperson for the festival, develops media partnerships and coordinates the international PR agencies abroad.

She also coordinates the partnership between the festival and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals campaign, which started in 2019. Marta is the festival’s official spokesperson for campaigns such as "The New Normal" (which championed Primavera’s 50/50 gender equal lineup) and the corporate social responsibility actions, specially the ones involving sustainability and environmental efforts.
