Palau Sant Jordi
Her first album hasn’t been released yet and she hasn’t even debuted live in our country, but Billie Eilish is on a roll. The new post-millennial pop star today announces two concerts in Spain as part of her European summer tour: September 2nd in the Poble Espanyol in Barcelona and 3rd September in the WiZink Center in Madrid, to officially present her first album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which will be released on March 29th and is already generating a hitherto unseen clamour of anticipation
Every step of this Californian artist is a new milestone... and she isn’t even 18 yet! Any statistic or fact Billie Eilish one day has drastically changed the next: keeping track of her hundreds of millions of listens on streaming platforms is impossible, as is counting her army of followers or trying to predict her limit (if she has one that is). So for now we will content ourselves with the latest facts we know about her: her first album comes preceded by the icy Bury A Friend, probably her most ghostly and rawest track to date, and she has also contributed a song, When I Was Older, to the soundtrack inspired by Alfonso Cuarón’s film Roma.
MadeinTYO will be the special guest for both Billie Eilish’s shows in Madrid and Barcelona on September. Raised in Tokyo and based in Atlanta, the rapper will showcase the songs of his debut album, Sincerely, Tokyo, which alongisde with his previous mixtapes and collaborations with Travis Scott, 2 Chainz or Blood Orange have established him as one of the must-follow new voices of the Soundcloud generation in the United States hip hop.
The capacity of Billie Eilish concerts will increase for both the Barcelona and Madrid concerts
At the express request of the artist, the concerts of Billie Eilish in Barcelona and Madrid at the beginning of September will increase their capacity.
In the case of Barcelona, the concert of September 2nd in the Poble Espanyol will move to Palau Sant Jordi.
In the case of Madrid, the concert of Tuesday 3rd September in the WiZink Center will still take place in this venue but at the full capacity of the space.
All the tickets already purchased will be valid for the new venues. These tickets will automatically change into unnumbered standing tickets.
The holders of tickets also have access to a special presale should they want to buy more tickets. This presale is already active and will go on until June 12th at 10 pm
The new tickets for both concerts are on sale at the price of 35 €, 45 € o 50€ (plus booking fee) on Ticketmaster.
