If a band or artist are so big that they need a lottery to get a ticket to see them at a theatre on the festival site then the Prima people should write into the contracts that they play one outside and one inside.

Easiest way to make it fair is have the show on 4pm on the Saturday :D . Only the proper fans will be in a state to get to the forum in time at that stage. Won't even need a ticket system!

Very true - I have seen some great bands in the Auditori but since the capacity of the festival seems to have gone up in recent years its totally ridiculous queueing to get in!

I haven't set foot in the Auditori since 2009 which is a big shame really.

set aside an hour of your day to make sure you get in for big names. though i guess the lottery means that you will know if you have a seat. but still if you want a good seat you will queue for maybe 30- 45 mins??

yes, but not everyone who gets a seat in the draw will show up, which is why most people who wanted to see Sufjan last year were also able to get in.

Whats the deal with VIP passes - there was some vague talk of them giving you priority access to Autitori events - anyone know anything about that?

2 Yeras ago, I could get inside the Auditory without queuing with my VIP ticket.
(there was a special line for us)

I think it will be the same this year.

Seeing band in the auditori is worth the wait as this place is very unusual.

How about doing the easy thing by persuading Jeff Mangum to reform Neutral Milk Hotel and play a Don't Look Back show of In the Aeroplane over the Sea on the main stage in addition to his solo shows ?

I must admit I am much more looking forward to seeing OliviasTremor Control again than Jeff Mangum.

I think he's pretty cool but the hyperbole that attaches itself to him is absurd - journalists looking for a new Syd Barrett story. Bit like Bobb Trimble.
