Hi,

As you all know, tomorrow was a disaster regarding those Portal cards. I thought that I had to recharge my card in order to buy drinks + food, but apparently you can only use it to buy drinks. I charged 40 euros and I only drink water, and need my money back so that I can buy some grub. Does any of you guys know if we can get a refund on at least half of the portal card credit? I think that would be only fair since the thing didn't even work and we had to pay cash (and make the HUGE line every time).

I agree about the refunds but it is clear on the Portal site that the cards were ONLY for drinks. Food was always going to be cash as they were independant operators.

I may have been wrong but I also read it that official merchandise was going to be available oin the card as well but honestly that is the weakest festival t shirt i have ever seen. how much did adidas pay them for thei soul anyway

They refund your money. Yesterday I get my money back.

I never went on the Portal site, I had no idea about the whole portal card thing when I arrived at the festival (I didn't know about the whole DM Stith - Sufjan Stevens thing either, and I'm pretty pissed about it).

Anyway, I'm relieved to hear that I can get a refund, thanks ravalboy!

how does it work with the refund? i have a lot cash on my card....

No idea how you might get your money back now... if you'd gone to the "recharge" booths on Friday or Saturday they'd have given you a cash refund.

Maybe if you contact them they'll work out if/how you can get a refund now.
