It rarely rains at this time of the year in Barca so you should be safe.

The best rainstorm ever at the festival was the legendary final day, almost final act of the festival on PS08 I think it was - Holy Fuck ---> stage invasion ---> Massive rainstorm ----> and Kandinsky on the Vice or Pitchfork stage ---->awesome!!

One of my favourite memroies of PS ever!!!

All the hardcore freaks getting soaked and dancing their asses off. I know I was!!!!

Only a hurricane will stop the bands playing mate.

Coming from Ireland the idea of an outdoor event being stopped because of rain seems silly however I saw Arcade Fire in Paris cut a set short because of it. Maybe the Irish and English festivals are a bit better prepared for it. Anyway not too much chance of festival canceling weather.

One week to go now til our looong journey from Melbourne starts. Can't wait!!

Several questions:

- Will there be a short way between Ray Ban stage and Pitchfork ?
The stages are very close but on the map the road between them seems very long

- Will there be another Vip area than the San Miguel one ?
(I've heard a rumors concerning one in the Mini stage)

- Will the Jack Daniels truck be there again this year ?
(Having a drink there was ace)

- What about the portal ?
Did they forget this way of buying drinks with this?

1.- I think so.
2.- Rumours are that a small area next to the right side of the stage. No bar.
3.- No idea.
4.- No portal. No tickets. Just cash. I think it was a good way to go but looks like the accident from last year and all the complains from the old-fashioned-creamers made progress difficult. The future will have to wait.

Was there ever a technical explanation for what went wrong with the ipads? I'd love to know how it was meant to work and where things broke down.

i was thinking about seeing father john misty at 4 pm on saturday in the auditori but according to dj coco it will be (j.tilman-)solo-show without his band.
that's a little disappointing.

Bummer, I was looking forward to see the full band.
