Thursday I think because tomorow is to soon I think and the bank holiday is the day after it fells right for it to be thursday I think and not friday because of what Saukkis said.

Errr sorry guys I just discovered that it's a bank holiday just in Madrid, up there in Barcelona they're going to work as usual.

Radiohead as an headliner that's too good to be true

The way I see it, the organisers of primavera have been waiting patiently for a while to book Radiohead...Yorke is a fan of the festival and has been a guest at the festival for the past few years.

I reckon if Radiohead are touring Europe this summer they WILL be playing Primavera*

It's only the way I see it, so it's far from "100% sure info". But look at it this way -

1. Why wouldn't the organisers want to book Radiohead - they would be an epic primaverasound headliner! Perfect fit with the festival's ethos.

2. As has been verified in the Spanish side of the forum, Yorke has been present at the festival at least twice over the past four years - spotted in the VIP area etc... Therefore one would assume he is a fan.

I think it is inevitable that Radiohead will play Primavera at somestage. So if they are touring Europe next year, it could happen.

So I'm merely putting 1 + 2 together to get 4. I'm probably way off the mark!

I wouldn't be so sure that the organisers would automatically want to book Radiohead since there seems to be lot of resistance especially among the Spaniards. We have also discussed the matter here.

I personally would love to see Radiohead sometime and what would be better place to do that than a festival I'm going anyways.

Radiohead must be a serious contender. They wouldn't do Benecassim cos its not their thing.

Prima has to be a serious consideration.

The only thing I would say is that when 'In Rainbows' cane out they headlined their own day at Parc De Forum a few weeks AFTER Prima.

But who wants the headache of doing that again? Can't believe they do.

SHUT THE OTHER MAIN STAGES FOR TWO HOURS AND LETS HAVE RADIOHEAD BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!!

Whilst I hope that Radiohead play, I don't want the other stages to be closed whilst they play as this means that a lot of poeple who don't particularily want to see them will go along anyway, thus making it even busier and more noisy (if people are not that interested they will just get bored and start talking to their friends).

I remember a couple of years ago getting slightly bored of Neil Young (and a wee bit tired of my neighbours lack of interest and chatting) after about 45 minutes, then having to wait another hour or so before getting the chance to see someone else. The Estrella Damm did help pass the time tho !

If we want to see Radiohead, we then have to take the hit of missing whoever else is on at the same time - that's the beauty (and the pain) of a festival !

Radiohead fits perfectlly for PS
I have to admit that last year I went to Beni just becasue of Arcade Fire
their gig was amazing but the general vibe there cosists mostly from English youngsters who are looking to get drunk and maybe to hear some music in between

maybe it sounds a bit naive-but I hope most of the people who are coming to PS are really looking forward just to enjoy really good music.

Here's latest from Gabi. He says that they want to announce artists that perform both Barcelona and Porto festivals and it gets a bit tricky. They're trying to give these first confirmations by the end of the week (tomorrow or day after that) or if not then early next week. There really is no hurry, Gabi says.

Why not get both? There's 3 nights to enjoy, right?
